Fair Housing Act & Section 504 Design Requirements for Multifamily Housing - a TDHCA Approved Course for ARCHITECTS & ENGINEERS

COURSE COST:  Registration and viewing of the First Module is FREE.  To continue the course and receive certification after viewing the First Module, the fee is $395.

PURPOSE:  To provide architects and engineers with an understanding of the accessibility design requirements under the Fair Housing Act and Section 504.

CERTIFICATION:  This course has been approved by The Texas Department of Community & Housing Affairs (TDHCA) and satisfies their five-hour QAP requirement.  Successful completion of this course will provide the student with a Certificate indicating that five hours of training have been completed. 


DESCRIPTION:  This is an On-Demand Video Course taught by Scott Moore.  It uses Fair Housing Solutions' Visually Enhanced Educational Environment (VE3) Technology to present the material in a way that is entertaining and engaging.  

This VE3 Series contains three and a half hours of video material.  The videos are from 5 to 20 minutes in length.  They must be viewed in sequence, but once you have viewed a video you can re-watch it.

REVIEW:  A self-paced review presentation is also included.  This review should take approximately 1 and a half hours to complete.

EXAM:  After the review, you will take a 30 Question, Multiple-Choice Exam.  A Score of 80% on the exam is required in order to complete the course.  

CERTIFICATE:  Upon completion of the course, you will be given the opportunity to instantly print your Certificate of Completion. 
TDHCA requires recertification every two years.
